SCIENTIFIC RATIONALE BEHIND THE BLUE LASER APPLICATION

Scientific rationale behind the BLUE Laser application for the support & management of Rosacea and the associated symptoms.

Demodex Folliculorum is a microscopic mite which is present on the human skin. Responsible for aiding in the removal of dead skin cells, these mites are usually harmless and can even be beneficial to skin health.
 
However, those who suffer with Rosacea (and some other immune compromised diseases) tend to experience a higher population of the Demodex mite and are often more sensitive to its by-product, causing itching, irritation, and recurrent inflammation. Where there are signs of dysbiosis or imbalance in the skin’s microbiome and acid mantle, a direct correlation to an elevated infestation of the mite may be seen.
 
Research shows that the Demodex Folliculorum mites are not only found in the upper skin layers, but also in the deeper cell layers, reaching down into the hair follicles.
